PIMFA
The UK Platform Group (UKPG) is an independent group of retail platforms working together to drive positive change. Run by platform firms, for platform firms.
The UKPG exists to:
- Discuss topics of mutual interest
- Work together to drive positive change for the platform market and to improve customer outcomes
- Support members in agreeing and benchmarking best practice as it applies to the delivery of good customer outcomes
- Raise concerns shared by all members with regulators, government, and other industry bodies
Example areas of UKPG action include:
- Regulatory and legislative developments impacting members as a platform operator, SIPP operator, ISA manager or custodian
- Discussions regarding the strategic direction of the platform industry
- Platform relationships with third parties e.g. productive providers, advisers, discretionary fund managers and asset managers
- Regulatory engagement
UKPG is led by a steering committee comprising representative member firms. Secretariat support is provided by PIMFA.
